Maths and Fairy tales

Hi this is my maths using character or  object from fairy tales. Our class has been working on fairy tales not so long ago.So our teacher Mrs Melick had a genius idea  to use fairy tales characters or object and combine them together. We ended up with a word problem.I hope you have learnt new things from maths.

Rapunzel
Once upon a time there was a young girl named Rapunzel.
She grows her hair 30 cm a day.
How many days will it take her to grow 1 metre?

Red Riding Hood
Once upon a time there was a  girl named Red Riding Hood she has a Granny and her Granny was sewing Red Riding Hood’s hood.Red Riding Hood wanted her hood a little bit long down about 25 cm. But her Granny did 5 times longer. How long did Granny sew??

Snow White
Once upon a time there was a girl named Snow White she has seven friends they are called the dwarfs. Each everyone of them are 82 cm.
They have to get there cookie that is on the shelf. The shelf was twice taller than them.If the shelf is twice taller than them than how tall is the shelf??

How to work out :

Rapunzel
100 cm is 1 m

I divided 100 by 30
I got 3 remainder 10

So the answer is 3 days.

Red Riding Hood
I times the 5 times longer by the 25 cm.

I got 125 cm that is my answer.
Snow White
I times the each dwarfs length 82 cm  by the shelf that is 2 times taller than them. I got 164 and that is my answer.
